Dr. Godwin grew up on the creeks and beaches of Charleston, SC.

His love for science and technology helped forge his way through degrees in chemistry and biology from the College of Charleston. He then went on to received a degree in dentistry from the Medical University of South Carolina.

In 1998, he moved to the upstate and began practicing dentistry in Simpsonville, SC.

Over the years, dentistry has become a marvelous avenue to continue his educational endeavors. He has gained hundreds of hours of continuing education on an annual basis.

Dr. Godwin believes that having a strong foundation of knowledge and experience allows him to provide you with more options, in turn, creating better results.

He focuses on making you feel at home when you come for your dental visits and works hard to give you the attention you deserve.

Dr. Godwin professes the friendships he’s built with patients and their families are one in a million. Helping so many wonderful people in our community is undoubtedly the best part of his job.

It also helps that his wife, Andi, shares the same passion for dentistry and quality patient care. She is an excellent asset to our dental team.

Outside the office, you’ll find Dr. Godwin spending time with Andi and their three children, who all have many interests ranging from sports, school, and church. He also enjoys wakeboarding on the lake, mountain biking with friends, and photography – our office is decorated with numerous wildlife photos
